Literary Vlog Tag! (Part 2)

Hello, folks!
We are pleased to present parts three and four of this literary vlog tag. We had great fun shooting it together, and we hope it proves amusing! Special thanks to Junior B for taking time to help me with this project. :)

Blessings,

  1. This was a lot of fun to do with you. :D :D I loved our dialogue after you said on the vlog who your favorite villain was: "I find it disturbing that you have tons of favorite characters and one favorite villain." And then you defended yourself by saying, "Well, I don't love bad characters." Touché. A hit acknowledged, ma'am. :D :P

I'm glad you decided to do these. I hope you do some again in the future.

    Love,
    Sister <3

  2. Nice Posts! These had very interesting questions and good points. I should pick up some good books I haven't read in awhile. And I love good stories and characters too.
Looking forward to seeing some of your future posts! ~The Book Reviewer(A.J.H.)

  4. Oh, this was sooooo much fun, girls! :) Schuyler, I love your sweetness, your thoughtful-witty comments and just watching you in real-life conversations is just so special and lovely. I really pray we can one day meet "in the flesh" so to speak (all in God's perfect time!). And Carrie-Gracie is really so sweet and cute too ;). <3

I second your thoughts on what makes you love a book =). Aha!

Talking about worst movie adaptions, I knew you'd bash those two *sobs* ;). While The Two Towers did have the most 'changes' of the movie trilogy, and might be the less favourite of the three films (thanks to that eeky Hollywoodized, unnecessary romance-sequences between Arwen and Aragorn. Duh!), I totally love The Two Towers, because it has so much of Frodo and Sam <3, and Smeagol comes to his own there - he is such a character. And I love the ending, with Sam's speech, and the ride of Helms Deep. Anyway ;). . . teasing aside! And, lol, The Desolation of Smaug. I don't think we've quite recovered from that ending, have we yet? You know how much I enjoyed it, and I know you did too, so I won't gripe! ^_^

Favourite characters. There are many unfamiliar ones there, but also familiar ones that made it to your list who made me smile. Talking about books outside my comfort zone, I think i have realized it is mostly dystopian and science-fiction, paranormal and all that genre jazz out there in the secular market (I do not believe I have yet read a modern non-Christian novel). That, and Amish Fiction. :p

Anyhow, I simply loved this vlog series, and I hope you do more, girls! Also, now I want to do a vlog of my own - you look like you had way too much fun with this and I want to join in!!

    1. Aw, I'm so glad you enjoyed watching them! Thank-you very much for your sweet compliments; they were very encouraging. :) AU is on my list of 'someday' places to go to; I have a couple of friends (you being one of them!) that I should love to see face to face there.

I knew that movie question might not be a general favorite! You know, everything you mentioned I love about TTT too. Sam's speech is just smashing--Frodo and Sam--Sméagol. Yes indeed. And most of Helm's Deep, too. :D But yes, agreed about Aragorn and Arwen. That was quite icky and Hollywood-ized. But there are many scenes that are good and true to Tolkien. :D

Hehe! I see we are both agreed about Amish fiction.

You SHOULD do a vlog! Every time I remember you're from AU I remember that you also must have a lovely Aussie accent! I should greatly enjoy hearing/seeing you live, and I'm sure many of your other friends would as well. :) If you need any tips on uploading/formatting just drop me a line and I'd be happy to share some of the things I've found helpful. :)

      Love,
      Schuyler
